Funerals and Memorials
Funeral, Memorial and Thanksgiving Services
Please do contact us whenever you need our support. Our vicar is experienced in helping families to deal with the sadness and trauma of death and loss and we can help you to arrange an appropriate service – whether that is a funeral or a memorial or thanksgiving.
We are also here for times of serious illness when spiritual questions and anxieties can become particularly important to patients and their families. A ‘good death’ is what we all want for ourselves and our loved ones, and often the thoughtful, prayerful company of a priest can help to guide people through challenging and uncharted waters as their own life, or the life of their loved-one, draws to a close.
To find out more about what happens during a funeral service, there is information on the Church of England web page here.
If you would like to discuss a funeral service or a memorial service please contact Lizzie Ladbrooke at firstname.lastname@example.org or on 01243 210242.
